Dutch shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde built Dutch torpedo boat Zr. Ms. XII 1878-1913

An item dated 31 May registered the order of the Dutch Department of Navy tot deliver a steel built torpedo boat with a displacement of 20 tons and as dimensions 24,15 x 3,15 x 2,17 metres (full loaded 0,54+1,58 metres with machinery. Yard number 13, engine No. 14 with cyl. 11½”x 19¼”and stroke 11” and Locomotive boiler No. 17, length 11’8”, diameter 3’8”, heated surface 516 square feet, grit surface 15’6” square feet and 120 pd pressure with belongings, Minimum speed 17 geographic miles. Weight boiler 3.790 kilo and water 1.990 kilo. Contracted price ƒ 45.000. Totally building costs ƒ 43.439,48 resulting in a profit of ƒ 1.560,52.
