British bark Colonial Empire wrecked according to the Dutch newspape Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 8 October 1917

An item dated Port Elizabeth 27th September reported that the British bark Colonial Empire was stranded and probably would be totally wrecked. The cargo was washed out by the sea.
