French navy wanted to built a wireless controlled target ship according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 No. 3

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht dated 20 March 1937 reporting that the French navy intended to built a wireless controlled target ship of 2.400 tons and a length of 100 metres and of very simple construction. The target was to be of great value for exercises/training of the artillery, submarines and aircraft.
