An item reported that the Russian tug Respublica built by Verschure&Co,’s Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek, Amsterdam, Netherlands departed on 2 December 1938 towards the North Sea for a trial. Fitted out with 1-900ihp triple expansion steam engine. Dimensions 44 x 9,80 x 4,50 (depth at sides) metres.
