Romanian steam tug Daniel Brothers active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 8 July1948

An item dealing with the tugs on the Danube, Romania reported the Romanian steam tug Daniel Brothers with a 180hp steam engine and a speed of 14-15 kilometres. She was owned by the Daniel Brothers which succeeded in keeping her away from being requisitioned and now used on the Danube. Used for the transport of sugar beets and occasionally Russian military.
