An item reported the official trial on 8 December 1949 of the Dutch Rhine motor tug Odin by Boele’s Scheepswerven the first of the three built for account of the N.V. Nederlandsche Rijnvaart Vereniging, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Fitted out with 1- cylinder 800 ehp at 285 rpm Stork engine and a Kort nozzle. Dimensions 40,35 (over all) x 7,60 (maximum) x 1,80 (with 75 ton fuel) x 2,75 (hold) metres.
