British steamship King Arthur seized by Japan according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1905 no. 3

An item reported that on 19 December 1904 the British 1.430 register tons steamship King Arthur when trying to leave port Arthur by the Japanese destroyer Asagiri was seized and brought to the prize court at Sasebo. She earlier delivered a cargo of barley at Vladivostok. Now were several Russian officers for the Baltic Fleet on board.(1)
