German cargo and passenger ship Sassnitz salvaged at Stralsund by Soviets according to a CIA report dated 7 July 1948

An item dealing with the Russian controlled German zone reported the salvage in October 1947 of the former German 60 gross tons cargo and passenger ship Sassnitz at Stralsund costing 68.000 RM. She was now being refitted out at Stralsund to be used in Soviet service.
