The Russian Danube Flotilla in Austria according to a CIA report dated 3 October 1946

An item reported that at Mannsdorf the Russian armoured patrol boat Brigade No. 1 commanded by captain 1st class Krimov was stationed numbering 23 armoured patrol vessels. The armament consisted of so-called Stalin organ (the Katyusha multiple rocket launchers), 1-10cm, gun, 1-7,5cm gun and 2-4,5cm guns ahead and furthermore 3 machineguns. The staff was also positioned at Vienna-Mannsdorf. The naval vessels stationed in Austria were part of the Danube Naval Flotilla which commanding officer rear admiral Matushkin as located at Budapest, Hungary.
