Portuguese minelayer Vulcano launched in England according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1910 No. 7

An item reported that the Portuguese minelayer Vulcano was launched on 15 February at the shipyard of John J. Thornycroft, England. Dimensions 33,5 x 5,95 metres. Armed with one torpedo tube aft. The two triple expansion steam engines and Thornycoft water tube boilers with a horsepower of 400ehp allowed a speed of 12 knots.(1)

1. Launched at Southampton in 1910 and discarded in the end of the 1940s. Net annex minelayer which was in the 1920-1930s used for torpedo training and was for this purpose fitted out with 3 torpedo tubes. One engine? Draught 1,30 (normal)-2,20 maximum) metres. Her crew numbered 24 men.
