Soviet Union negotiating with the Italian Apuania Shipyards for building tugs according to a CIA report dated 7 January 1949

An item reported that the Soviet Union was negotiating with the Apuania Shipyards, Marina di Massa for building 10 tugs. The Russian negotiator was Mark Konov (Ulianowski 20 January 1917), living in Moscow who visited La Spezia on 24 September, 18 and 31 October 1948.
