The situation at the Scoglio Olivi Dockyards at Pola, Yugoslavia according to a CIA report dated 7 March 1949

An item reported that just two of the three dry docks at the Scoglio Olivi Dockyards at Pola, Yugoslavia [nowadays Pula, Croatia] were in good condition. Dry dock No. 3 was since November 1940 used for repairing floating docks. In September 1948 was one floating dock sunk by German forces in the Second World War salvaged and under repair which was to be completed by May 1949. Were the dockyards and arsenals in satisfactory condition, the wharves could still not be used.
