The Soviet Volvo Shipyard and Heavy Equipment Plant Krasnoarmeysk 264 according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported the fenced and rail served Soviet Volvo Shipyard and Heavy Equipment Plant Krasnoarmeysk 264 with as geographic coordinates 48.31.20 north and 44.31.40 east in the south part of Volvograd on the west bank of the Volga probably used for the building of self-propelling barges. The shipyard possessed a side-haul marine railway, severed covered building slipways, 6 shop and 30 support buildings, an off-shore wharf and 2 piers.
