Dutch light cruiser Hr.Ms. De Zeven Provinciën (C 802) 1939-1973 and Peruvian Aguirre (CH-84) 1973-1999 (2000)






Laid down at the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij at Rotterdam, Netherlands on 5 September 1939, launched on 19 December 1941, commissioned as the Hr.Ms. De Zeven Provinciën in the Dutch Royal Navy, sold to the Peruvian navy in March 1973 and handed over August 1976, modernized including removal RIM-2Terrier SAM system and adding a fixed hangar and flight deck at the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij, Rotterdam, Netherlands, recommissioned 24 February 1978 as the Aguirre (CH-84), decommissioned on 21 March 1999 and scrapped in 2000. Her homeport was Callao.
