Chinese guided missile destroyer Xi An (153) 2012-

Of the Type 052C Luyang II-class (NATO code) guided missile destroyers consisting of the Lanzhou, Haikou, Changchun, Zhengzhou, Jinan and Xi’An. Displacement 7.000 tons and as dimensions 155 x 17 x 6 metres or 508.6 x 55.9 x 19.8 feet. Fitted out with 2 x35.7 MW DA80 gas turbines and 2x6MW MTU 20V 956TB92 diesel engines allowing a speed of 29 knots and with 15 knots a range of 4.500 nautical miles. Crew numbers 280 men. Hangar on the stern and a Kamov Ka-28 or Harbin Z-9 helicopter landing platform. Armament consists of 1-10cm PJ-87 guns, 4 x multiple rocket launchers (multirole?), 6 torpedo tubes, 2-3cm Type 730 close-in weapon systems, 8 YJ-62 anti ship missiles and 48 HHQ-9 surface-to-air missiles. Built at Jiangnan, launched on 16 June 2012 and commissioned on 9 February 2015.
