An item referred apparently to an account of sailor who passed with his ship several harbours on the Romanian part of the Lower Danube. He stated that underway towards Braila he passed on the 31st mile the Soviet tug Yephomop and tanker underway towards Sulina with according to the pilot as final destination Odessa [Ukraine]. In the comment on his statement war mentioned that it was probably not a tanker but a non-propelling petroleum lighter or barge.
