The building of fishing vessels for the Aral Sea according to a CIA report dated 7 July 1949

An item referred to the Pravda Votoska No. 117 dated 15 June reporting that at the Aral Shipyard 11 motor propelled fishing vessels received from Arkhangel’sk Oblast were assembled. The Leningrad Shipbuilding Plant delivered powerful barges to be taken in service in the near future. Before the end of 1949 were other fishing vessels delivered to the plants of the South Aral Fishing Trust.
