The fleet of the Polish Salvage Organisation (P.R.O.) according to a CIA report dated 28 July 1954

An item reported that the fleet of the Polish Salvage Organisation (P.R.O.) consisted of the tugs Swarozyc (712 tons gross register tonnage, 1.700hp horsepower), Herkules (1.200hp horsepower), Swiatowid (937 tons gross register tonnage)), small base ship Posejdon, small general purpose salvage vessel Smok, general purpose salvage vessel Neptunia (298 tons gross register tonnage, 500hp horsepower) and the small wood built cutters Kunor and Wydrv with a length of about 25 metres. The tug Zubr of the Gdynia harbour administration was often chartered. Under the 1954 P.R.O. program were two new tugs at least as large as the Swarozyc to be acquired. The Swarozyc herself was in 1954 to be added to the Polish fishing fleet in the northern waters for immediate support indeed needed.
