Launched 6 June 1995, commissioned on 27 May 1996 as Flyvevisken- class patrol vessel (P 563) series 3 or Standard Flex 300/SF300-class, rebuilt into a diving vessel 2010-2011 replacing the Barsø-class Laeseø (Y307). Of th 17 planned vessels were 14 completed of which 4 were sold to Portugal and there commissioned as the Tejo-class.
General technical details as patrol vessel. With a displacement of 320 (light)-450 (full load) tons were the dimensions 54 x 9 x x 2,5 metres or 177.2 x 29.6 x 8.2 feet. Speed 7-(hydraulic drive)-20 (with the MTU’s)-30 (turbines and diesels) and with a speed of 18 knots a range of 3.860 nautical miles. Crew numbered between 19-29 persons. Armament of this class differs depending on the role. Available were 8-Boeing RGM-84 harpoon Block II SSM launchers, 12 Sea Sparrow SM launchers, 1-7,6cm /62 OTO Melara gun, 2-12,7mm/0.50” machineguns 60 mines or 4-32,3cm/12.7” MU90 ASW torpedoes.
