An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 4th August reported the arrival on the Elbe, Germany of the whaler Engel Michael commandeur Hendriuk Adriaensz coming from Greenland with 12 whales. On the Maas, Netherlands arrived the Dutch commandeurs Jan Dirksz van de Velde with 21 and Peter Petersz with 13 whales returning from Greenland. At Texel arrived the Greenland whalers St. Niklaes commandeur Fulp Ysbrans 13 whales, de Maria Van Hoorn 13 whales, Rust van ‘t Vaderlant 14 whales, Klaes Rykers 16 whales, Jan Cornelisz Oomjan full with 15 whales and Eelmer Eeelmers with 18 whales
