Large numbers of German whalers and seal hunters fitted out in 1791

An item reported that in the Elbe and Weser area in 1791 62 whalers and seal hunters were to be sent towards Greenland namely Hamburg 35, Altona 9, Glückstadt 11, Bremen 6 and Vegesack and further more were 2 ships fitted out at Bremen to be sent to the Davis Strait.
