Turkish preparing attack on Malta Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 6 February 1723

An item dated Rome, Italy 16th January reported that the Turkish were fitting out 60 sultanes, 60 galleys and a large number of transports in which 20,000 men were to be embarked. Probably target was Malta.
