Built by American Marine Corpration/Bollinger Gulf Repair, New Orleans, Louisiana in 1974. Renamed Veesea Tornado in August 1991 and Tornado in August 2002. Originally owned by Arthur Levyy Entreprises Incorporated, Morgan City, Louisiana, USA, registration no. 557223 and call sign WZD3. Gross tonnage 194 tons, net tonnage 132 tons, deadweight 1.021 tons and as dimensions 51,87 (between perpendiculars)-55,58 (over all) x 11,56 (moulded)-11,59 (extreme) x 3,925 x 4,58 metres.
