Scottish screw steam whaler Ravenscraig in 1873

Commander Wm. Allen. Owners Mr. Lockhart, Kirkaldy, Scotland. Homeport Dundee, Scotland. Tonnage 394 tons. Horsepower 60 hp. Rigged as a barque. Dimensions 130 (extreme) x 30 (extreme) feet. Number of boats 8. Built in 1835 as a sailing vessel, converted in 1866. Made 7 whaling voyages.
