No credit for crew of the schooner Major Croghan according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 6 December 1817

An announcement reported that captain John Wootten of the schooner Major Croghan warned no to give any credit to his crew why he would not pay the debts.(1)

1. The edition dated Saturday 19 December published an item dated 23rd Movember reporting her arrival on Sunday in teh harbour of Amelia Island coming in 11 days from Carney Island with 150 military of the troops commanded by major Bird.
