British A.I.O.C. sea going screw steam tug Tavana stationed at Abadan, Persia in May 1946

Gross register tonnage 361 tons and as dimensions 128.0 (over all) x 32.4 (extreme beam) x 12.5 (maximum loaded draught) feet. Horsepower 1.000 ihp. Salvage and towing. Part of the fleet of Anglo-Irian Oil Company (A.I.O.C.).(1)

1. According to Lloyds Register 1947-1948 official number 1671183, call sign GRGW, United Kingdom-flagged and homeport London, England. Gross tonnage 361 ton, under deck 293 ton, net tonnage 4 ton and as dimensions 120.5 x 31.1-32.4 x 13.0. Built by Scott&Sons, Bowling, Scotland in February 1939.
