According to a list dated March-April 1944 was the cargo barge Nea Maria part of the fleet of the Dnjepr-Küsten-Schiffahrt GmbH (D.K.S.), Greece-flagged, dimensions 62,50 x 11,00 x 2,11 metres and cargo capacity 959 tons.
