Building ordered in 1877, laid down by Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée, France in 1878, launched in 1879, commissioned in 1879, decommissioned in 1931. Training ship which visited in 1899 during 3 days Amsterdam, Netherlands before leaving for Antwerp, Belgium. Displacement 1.820 tons (standard) and as dimensions 75 x 11 x 4,4 metres or 246 x 36 x 14 feet. Sal-screw steam ship with one screw, 2.400 ihp horsepower and a speed of 13,5 knots. Crew numbered 180 men. Armament consisted of 3x1-17cm/6,7” cal 25 guns, 1-17cm/6,7” cal 20 gun and 6x1-3,7cm/1.1 1 pd guns.
The Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 11 October 1899 reported her arrival in the morning of the 10th and described her as the Greek training sail-steam ship Admiral Mioulis commanded by Toeseharis (other newspaper are calling him Faecharis and G. Thêratchari). On board were around 400 men including midshipmen. She came from Hamburg, Germany for a stay of 3 days before leaving towards Antwerp, Belgium.
The newspaper Scheepvaart dated 31 October 1899 called her Amiral Miaoulis which anchored on 30 October in the roads van Vlissingen, Netherlands coming from Antwerp en leaving on 31 October towards Brest, France.
