Russian suction dredger Severodvinsky 1966-2011 (Leymark 2011-2016, Ginger 2016-)

Built by Alexander Stephen and Sons, Clyde Estuary, Glasgow, Scotland in September 1966. Gross tonnage 1.972 tons, net tonnage 678 tons and as dimensions 252.0-269.2 x 45.0-46.10 x 17.0 x 13.6½ feet. Call sign UJNK. IMO 6521915. As Ginger Tanzania-flagged, MMSI 677072700 and call sign 5IM827. Since 2009-Moldova-flagged (until 2016 or 2019?).

Good to see that the Severodvinsky and possibly its 2 x sister ships Enoski and Arabaski might still be in operation somewhere in the World.I was an Electrical Apprentice working on all 3 way back then and was fortunate...indeed lucky to be accepted to go on the sea trials in the Clyde Estuary.Built for the USSR their area of operation was as gold dredgers in Murmansk Sea in the far northwest part of Russia.
