Apollo-class
Laid down by the Navy Yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands on 22 May 1897, launched on 14 July 1898, commissioned on 1 March 1901, decommissioned in 1913 and sold on 28 May 1913 to be broken up. Of the Holland-class based on the British Apollo-class. Displacement 4.033 tons and as dimensions 94,7 x 14,8 x 5,41 metres or 310.8 x 48.7 x 17.9 feet. With a horsepower of 10.00 ihp supplied by reciprocating steam engines via 2 shafts was her speed 20 knots. Crew numbered 324 men. The armour consisted of a 5cm2” thick deck. Armament consisted of 2x1-15cm/5.9cm guns, 6x1-12cm/4.7” guns, 4x1-7,6cm/3.7” guns, 4x1-1pd guns and 2-45cm/18” torpedo tubes.
