Norwegian whaling and seal hunting out of Hammerfest in 1890

In his report wrote the British vice consul at Hammerfest that the results of the whaling was better than the years before and due the higher oil prices were fair profits expected. The seal hunting was however less successful and even below average results but the high prices prevented losses.
