American sealing brig Hersilia in 1823 according to George Brown Goode

The American sealing brig Hersilia of Stoningon, Connecticut, USA was in 1823 captured off the Chilean coast by the Spanish. She had been able to sent home in the meantime 18.000 hair seal skins.
