American whaling ship Sapphire visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 1 May 1841

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 30 April of the American whaling ship Sapphire captain Cartwright of Salem 15 months out 650 barrels oil. The edition dated 8 May reported her departure on 1 May.
