American whaling ship Zephyr visited Laihana, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 5 December 1840

An item reported the arrival at Lahaina, Hawaii on 16 November of the American whaling ship Zephyr captain Gardner of New Bedord, USA 16 months out 550 barrels oil-500 this season.
