British whaling brig Indian visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 6 June 1840

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 3 May of the British whaling brig Indian captain Maugham of London, England 10 months out 500 barrels oil. Departed on 8 May for cruising.
