Catch results of German Greenland whalers according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamsche courant dated 8 July 1800

An item reported the arrival of commandeur P. Boysen on the Elbe returning from Greenland with 1 whale and 30 quardelen and loosing bowsprit and foremast. Boysen reported that the 11 commandeurs from Hamburg, Germany captured 8 whales, 337 quardelen, the 10 commandeurs of Altona, Germany 12 whales, 368 quardelen, 7 commandeur of Glückstadt 2 whales, 253 quardelen, 5 commandeurs of Bremen, Germany 8 whales and one commandeur of the East 2 whales.
