French whale ship l’Espadon visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 31 August 1844

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 23 August of the French whale ship l’Espadon master Rateau of Nantes 10 months out 1.500 barrels oil.
