French whaler Nil hailed according to the newspaper The Sydney Gazette and New South Whales Advertiser dated Saturday 8 December 1838

An item reported that the whaler Governor Bourke (homeport Sydney, Australia) spoke on 2 September the French whaler Nil 14 months at sea with 1.000 barrels black oil.
