An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 29 October of the French whaling ship John Cachinelle captain Wals of Havre de Grace 1.900 barrels sperm oil. The edition dated 20 November called her John Cockerill captain departing on 14 November bound for Tahiti.
