German submarines active in the Atlantic Ocean according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 20 May 1942

An item reported that there seemed to be longer German submarines in the central part of the Atlantic Ocean in the latitudes north of Cape Race, Newfoundland, Canada. Since the reports dated 13 and 14 May were none convoys attacked. In the west part of the Atlantic Ocean were however non escorted ships still attacked.
