Allied army heavy bombers attacked Koepang, Dutch Timor according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 20 May 1942

An item reported that on 18 May six Allied army heavy bombers attacked Koepang, Dutch Timor (Dutch East Indies) dropping 6 tons of bombs with two hits on a 3.000 tons merchant ship and possible hitting a 6.000 tons ship. The Japanese anti aircraft defence did not succeeding in destroying any aircraft.
