Dutch Greenland whalers stick in the ice according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 3 October 1684
An item reported that the Dutch whalers which went to far too the east searching for an opening in the ice were the most stick in the ice. The whalers Blauwe Ryger and the Hoop, both of Medemblik, Netherlands escaped.
