Dutch passenger ship (ex-Prinses Juliana 1909-1930) Costa Rica 1930-1941

Launched by Nederlandsche Scheepsbouw Mij. N.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands on 15 July 1909, launched on 1 June 1910, delivered as Prinses Juliana to the N.V. Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland, Amsterdam on 1 October 1910, managed by Peninsula&Oriental Steam Navigation Co.Ltd., Hong Kong and owned by the The Shipping Controler, London, Engeland between 2 March 1918-2 September 1919, rebuilt in 1930 as the Costa Rica of the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij N.V., Amsterdam and sunk while used as a troop transport on 27 April 1941 by German aircraft underway from Kalamata, Greece to Crete, Greece.
