Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland, Amsterdam on 1 October 1910, managed by Peninsula&Oriental Steam Navigation Co.Ltd., Hong Kong and owned by the The Shipping Controler, London, Engeland between 2 March 1918-2 September 1919, rebuilt in 1930 as the Costa Rica of the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij N.V., Amsterdam and sunk while used as a troop transport on 27 April 1941 by German aircraft underway from Kalamata, Greece to Crete, Greece.
