Royal British navy founded new base at Belfast, Ireland according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1909-1910 no. 8


Majestic-classs

An item reported that at Belfast, Ireland a new harbour for the British Royal Navy was constructed including defence works. A flotilla of destroyers of the newest type and submarines were there to be stationed just like a Magnificent-class battleship (1) to act as guard ship and a Boadicea-class armoured cruiser to act as mother ship for the destroyers.
