American whale ship Leonidas visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 9 November 1844

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 3 November of the American whale ship Leonidas captain Waldron of Bristol 16 months out 1.400 barrels whale oil 12.000 lbs bone. The edition dated 16 November reported her departure on 8 November for cruising.(1)
