British destroyer HMS Rifleman launched according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1910-1911 no. 9

An item reported that the British destroyer HMS Rifleman (1) built by White&Co. was launched at East Cowes on 22 August. She was a sister ship of the in June launched HMS Redpole. (2) Length 73 meters and had a fitted out for sea duties design speed of 27 miles.

Notes

1.Part of Acorn-class destroyers, preceded by the Beagle-class and succeeded by the Acheron-class. Laid down by J. Samuel White&Company, Cowes on 21 December 1909, launched on 22 August 1910, completed in March 1911 and sold to be broken up on 9 May 1921.

2. Part of Acorn-class destroyers, preceded by the Beagle-class and succeeded by the Acheron-class. Laid down by J. Samuel White&Company, Cowes on 10 December 1909, launched on 24 June 1910, completed in February 1911 and sold to be broken up on 9 May 1921
