Dutch Greenland seal hunter Maasstroom returned according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 18 August 1826

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 12th reported that the Dutch ship Maasstroom commandeur Cupido returned from Greenland with a catch of 2.800 seals or 126 casks blubber. Results of whaling off Greenland were again worse due to lacking ice form the south.
