An item reported that at the end of the same month the German cruiser Königsberg (1) would visit Gdynia as a response of the visit lately at Kiel, Germany by Polish warships. The armoured cruiser Admiral Scheer (2) would visit in the same period Danzig.

Of the Königsberg-class light cruisers, preceded by Emden and succeeded by Leipzig-class, laid down at the Reichsmarinewerft on 12 April 1926, launched on 26 March 1927, commissioned on 17 April 1929, sunk on 10 April 1940 off Bergen, Norway as result of a British air attack, salvaged on 17 July 1942, righted in March 1943 and became a pier for submarines, capsized on 22 September 1944 and broken up after 1945.

Main armament 2x3-28cm/11”guns on fore and aft ship one turret. Laid down by Kriegsmarinewerft Wilhelmshaven, Germany on 25 June 1931, launched on 1 April 1933, commissioned on 12 November 1934, sunk during an air attack at Kiel, Germany on 9 April 1945, partly broken up and the remains used of filling up the inner part of the dockyard.
