Irish screw steam fishing side trawler ST Leukos (D 86) 1914-1939

Sunk by gunfire of the German submarine U-38 with no survivors on 11 September 1939. Gross register tonnage 216 tons, net tonnage 83 tons and as dimensions 166 x 21 x 11 feet. Single screw. Built by John Duthie Torry Co. Ltd., Aberdeen, Scotland in 1914 for the National Steam Fishing Company, Aberdeen, in the First World War serving as boom defence vessel in the Royal British Navy, in 1920 of Tucker, Tippet&VCo., Aberdeen and since 1929 of Dublin Trawlers, Ice and Cold Storage Co., Dublin
