German whaler Hansa visited Petropaulaski, Kamchatka according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 3 November 1849

An item reported the the arrival at Petropaulaski, Kamchatka, Russia by the German whaler Hansa master Husing of Bremen on 24 September coming from Bering Strait 2.200 barrels oil this season, reported good catch results of the fleet and 7 October departed for Oahu, Hawaii.
